What are your opening hours?
At My Retreat we operate a two-week rolling timetable covering the hours 10-9 Monday to Saturday, so you should be able to get an appointment on a day and time that suits you. Otherwise Julia is available online for coaching and well-being at many other times.

What are the parking facilities?
There is free, on-street parking available. Please be mindful not to block our neighbours’ drives.
How long have you been established and what are your qualifications?
My Retreat opened in July 2014. Julia has a range of qualifications in massage, facials and body therapies and is a member of The Guild of Holistic Therapists. She has a PGCE teaching certificate, meditation instructor’s qualification and a diploma in Life Coaching.
Are you accessible for wheelchairs, elderly etc.?
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate those in wheelchairs or who can’t climb stairs. My Retreat is a private home as well as a business and the therapy room is upstairs.
What are the different massage choices?
Back, Neck and Shoulders
A ‘traditional’ back massage – with all the My Retreat touches.
Upper Body
A deluxe back massage which includes arms, neck and shoulders and then turn over for more on neck and shoulders up into scalp.
Back of the Body
A massage down each side of the body (back, arm and leg), allowing more work on the glutes, followed by further work on the back, neck and shoulders.
Full Body
A traditional full body massage: back, neck and shoulders, arms, back and front of legs.
Top to Toe
The full body plus extra on feet and hands, abdomen (if desired) plus face, with cleanse and tone, and scalp massage.

How do I book?

I’ve tried booking online but don’t seem to be able to find an appointment. What should I do?
Please contact us directly to see if we can juggle things around to fit you in. Please be aware we are usually fairly booked up to a month in advance.
I have a voucher. How do I book?
Please contact us directly to organise your appointment.
Why do I need to pay in advance?
Due to the high demand for appointments your payment in advance secures your booking. Please see our cancellation policy for information should you need to cancel.
I need to cancel my appointment. What should I do?
Please give us as much notice as possible and check our cancellation policy regarding rebooking and refunds.
Do you do massages etc for men?
Yes, we have specific therapies designed for the guys. However, a referral is required from a current client for us to accept appointments from new male clients. We hope you understand.
I’m a little nervous about what happens, can you explain the process?
